Hi team. We are getting nearer the end of summer, so I hope most of you have managed to get away for a sneaky week in the sun somewhere. Or you could always break out the bikini in Livingston..?  

There has been a lot happening in the gym the last couple of weeks - Kev and Gav took our mid-morning aerobics class out for a 4 hour trek in the Pentlands. Needless to say there were some very tired legs upon their return! Our vibrogym classes are picking up in popularity so if you would like to try one book it soon!

Thanks to all of you that completed the Gym for Heroes Challenge. 3 hours straight of rowing / cycling / running is an amazing effort and definitely not for the faint hearted! I've never seen so many blisters - a great achievement supporting the Help for Heroes charity - well done!  

In August we are focusing on jazzing up your routines on the gym floor. A great chance to spend some quality time with the staff and to pick our brains on how to best achieve your goals. We will even loan you a suunto belt for free - and teach you all about heart rate training and how to use it. With winter lurking in the not so distant future we need to be armed and ready to keep our workouts exciting over the coming months!

Last but not least - we finally have our new database system in place - so make sure you smile for the camera next time you swipe in!
